Autumnstar had been waiting patiently in his den, waiting for his deputy. He had been quickly cleaning himself when he heard the she-cat's voice call out. He stopped and looked up. "Come in Dawnflower." He mewed, a hint of sleepiness still sounding in his voice. It was unnecessary, but he rose to his paws. The tom dipped his head in greeting and sat down again. He looked Dawnflower over a couple times before looking her straight in the eyes. His vibrant green eyes met the she-cats lighter green eyes and held her gaze for what seemed like forever. Once he realized it, he immediately looked down.

He spoke again. "So. What have you come to talk about?" Autumnstar looked up at his deputy again. "I've been anxious to hear what you've wanted to tell me since last night. I just couldn't wait."
